Day One: Airport to hotel Transfer

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. At the Vijitt Resort Phuket where the pace of life is slow and the scenery is simply breathtaking. Situated on a tranquil beach away from the bustling tourist crowds, this luxury all-villa Phuket resort offers a rejuvenating retreat that exudes Thai charm. The exquisite location of the Rawai hotel was handpicked for its outstanding natural beauty offering wide open spaces with tall swaying palms and lush green lawns that gently slope towards the Andaman Sea.

Day Three: Full Day Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island

Today, spend a day at sea visiting beautiful Phang Nga Bay from Phuket. After breakfast, you'll be met and driven to the jetty where a private, longtail boat awaits. Climb aboard and cast off to begin your adventure!

Cross the emerald-green waters of the bay, passing by dramatic limestone karsts and uninhabited islands. Go ashore at 'James Bond Island', a distinctive rocky island that is a popular place for photos.

The day is filled with several fantastic stops. Cruise through a pristine mangrove forest, getting a close look at the incredible ecosystems created by these ancient plants. Stop at secluded beaches to go swimming alongside colourful tropical fish. There is plenty of time to explore secluded beaches and soak up the sun. Around midday a scrumptious picnic lunch will be served in a scenic location. Enjoy the fresh air and tropical breeze while dining on a delicious meal.

As the sun begins to dip low into the sky, return to Phuket arriving in time to watch the sunset at the end of the day. You'll be transferred back to your hotel.

How Would I Get to Thailand?

Depending on where you’re coming from, flying would be best. It will be best to fly into Phuket International Airport (HKT). There are travel agents on staff that will help you find the right flight to Phuket. Send an email to thehighjourney@thehighjourney.com! Please be sure to enter where you would be flying from and for how many people.

Entry Requirements For Thailand?

Fully vaccinated travellers from any country are allowed to enter Thailand without quarantine. Here are the requirements: Fully vaccinated for more than 14 days before traveling; Must book a SHA+ Hotel for Day 1 while waiting for the result of the RT PCR COVID test; you must also possess a covid-19 insurance policy. If you need help with getting a policy that covers covid-19 please let us know.

What Time Is Check-In?

We know that you can’t control the timing of flights and when they’re scheduled to arrive. Right when you land you will meet your representative and he/she will take you to the hotel.

IS TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?

Yes, all transportation is included such as airport pickup, excursions, and airport drop-off.

WHATS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

You will be responsible for your flight getting to Thailand. Pricing above also does not include travel insurance, visa’s, entry fees (if required), spending money on different excursions (drinks, extra food, gratuity etc)

Is My Deposit Refundable?

Your deposit is non-refundable after 5 days of payment.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). We also accept Paypal.

Do I Have to Be In Canada or The United States to Join The Trip?

No, this trip is open to anyone in the world that has access to flying into Lima.

Do I Need A Visa To Visit Thailand?

If you're visiting from Canada, or the USA, you will not need to require a visa upon entry. You will also need a passport for entry, and your passport must not be expiring within six months of arrival for other countries its recommended to research to see if you will need it. Contact us if you need help with applying for the required visa for entry.

Should I Get Travel Insurance?

Travel insurance is not required, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you purchase trip cancellation and medical insurance. It's always important to travel, knowing that if there was an emergency to erupt that you will be 100% covered. We offer insurance for all trips; please inquire for more information.

Are Flights Included?

What Are The Rooms Like And Will I Be Sharing?

The rooms are for double/single occupancy. If you book with a friend, you will be able to share a room with them if you don't want to share a room with your friend you will be able to request a single occupancy room. Any special requests that you may need please feel free to contact us.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. Guaranteed deposit is required at time of booking. Standard deposit is $300 per person for all destinations, except for Africa, which is $500 per person, unless otherwise indicated. There may be certain tours and arrangements which will require a higher deposit. The exact amount will be advised at the time of booking. Travel Insurance with trip cancellation, which is strongly recommended, should be purchased at time of deposit. Once deposits are received, The High Journey Travels full booking conditions and cancellation penalties apply;

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations received prior to final payment will incur loss of nonrefundable deposit. After the final balance is paid, the following cancellation schedule will apply.

We shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities. It is highly recommended to get travel insurance that covers force majeure situations.
